Bolzano – the city where I was born in and the city with a stunning medieval flair and history. I think it’s funny how you never realize the beauty of a place you’re so used to until you go away. Coming back here always fills me with various emotions such as awe, homesickness and that special sort of ‘vacation feeling’ which just makes you feel content and adds a little spring to your step.
We spent half of our day here, sipping a cappuccino and munching on a brioché on the main square, going back to our favorite shops and shooting some photos of my outfit!
What I wore
On that day, I wore one of my favorite blouses from MANGO, a silky white one with long sleeves and a big, loose bow around the neck. I frequently wore it to work combined with slacks or skirts and I love how I can also wear it more casual with jeans.
Talking about jeans, those are a new pair I got at BIK BOK a couple weeks ago. They’re a skinny fit and deep black – which I hope will remain like this also through the next rounds of washing!
This is the first pair of pants I got at BIK BOK and, surprisingly, I had to get an XS. Apparently I’m a size right in between what they measure XS and S, so I decided to go for the smaller one since jeans like those give in after a while anyway. I’m saying this to remind you to check their sizing charts if you ever decide to shop directly from their website. I usually just go with my usual size and usually don’t check the measure details but after this time I might reconsider it!
Remember when in the last post I told you that I got 3 new pairs of espadrilles at lake Garda? Well the ones I’m wearing in the photos are one of them. Their sole is a little more elevatet than I’m used to but that makes them really comfortable.
The highlight about them, though, is that the sequins are 2 different colors on each side and by running the hand over them you can change the color of the shoes from silver to black, depending on the direction. I also like mixing them up and wearing both colors just to make the effect show even more!
And, finally, I chose my pink FURLA purse to add a little life to the outfit. It has recently become my favorite companion for parties or dinner occasions because It’s small and practical, can be worn in 2 lengths and adds a little color to plain outfits.
