Hi there! Due to a national holiday in Austria on thursday my mom and me decided to take the friday off and spend a long weekend ‘back home’ in South Tyrol, Italy, where we used to live for around 18 years before moving to Vienna 2 years ago.

Anyway, a family tradition of ours is to make a day trip to lake Garda  as soon as the weather starts to get warm in spring. And that’s exactly what we did the other day! Here’s more about where we went and what I wore. [including Shop the look! section]

Where I went

We usually go to Bardolino or Lazise when we drive down to lake Garda and this time we decided to visit the latter one. The touristy zone there is neither too big nor crowded which makes it the perfect place to spend the day and stroll through the narrow streets. Nevertheless, both little towns are just equally picturesque and lovely!

After grabbing a quick coffee we started our little tour, entering a couple of shops here and there, and by the end I got 3 new pairs of espadrilles (ooops!). In one of those back streets we also walked past a cute little restaurant called “L’ Arco”, where we decided to come back for lunch – it was delicious!

We finished off the day with another walk along the lakeside, taking a couple of photos now and then. It was, overall, a beautiful trip mostly because the sun was shining, too. It couldn’t have been any better!

What I wore

As I checked the weather on that morning it was supposed to be sunny but yet a little chilly. And thankfully the weather forecast was reliable for once!

I wore my super comfy white jeans from Mango with an oversized button down blouse from the same brand. The loose-fitting nude knit is from Double Agent USA, a brand I’ve first discovered on my last trip to Milan.

To round up this simple but yet classic outfit I chose to bring my beloved Chloé Drew cross body and wore my golden watch from Marc by Marc Jacobs combined with some cute bracelets I got at Aldo.

And to continue with the golden pattern I slipped on my golden metallic espadrilles from Buffalo. The glasses are actually my Moms because – obviously – I forgot mine at home!
