After our little shoppingtour through Milan we drove out of town to the world EXPO 2015 which will end this October. For 6 months 145 countries displayed their influence and interpretation of the motto “Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life” in their own pavilions. The area is huge and the things to see many, so it’s clearly impossible to make it all in only 1 day, let alone one evening. We got there at 6 o’clock in the evening and got ourselves a nightpass which only costs 5€ instead of the regular 35€ daypass. And I was impressed by how many people were there. You could hardly move through the masses and at some pavilions (Japan for example) you had to wait at least two hours to get in. The line in front of the Italian one was kilometers long. It was insane. I have to admit: I didn’t go in these ones but even if you didn’t enter you could at least enjoy the architecture of them and the traditional food some of them offered.
Besides some snacking at the various countries we had dinner at a restaurant in the korean pavilion which was really delicious. Unfortunately I didn’t take a photo of it but I do still strongly recommend it! 🙂
Have you been at the EXPO as well? If yes, which pavilions did you see and what is your opinion overall? Personally, I was stunned by the effort that was put in the whole event and can only say that it was (and still is) overall a great success!
Anyway: here you get some impressions of our evening, details of my outfit are below. 🙂
