Outfit | My Swiss Getaway – actually alice

Summer Semester 2015/16: CHECK! We reached this school year’s halftime and for students in Austria that means: Semester Break! As a lucky college student I have the whole february off and eventhough I have to work for the major part of it I’m still pretty excited about not having to worry about classes and exams for a little bit. But anyway, I took a couple of days off and went to visit my Dad in Lugano, Switzerland. In the following posts I will tell you a little bit more about what I’m up to and – of course – what I wore. 🙂

We arrived late at night and decided to spend the next day in Lugano, sleep in a little and take a walk around this pretty town. We grabbed a coffee at our favorite coffee shop around the corner “Café a portér” and then strolled through the narrow streets and busy shopping passages. Eventhough I’ve already been here a couple of times it still feels like the first time every time we come here. You can’t even start to imagine how pretty the buildings are and just how picturesque the lakefront is! My dad’s appartment overlooks lake Lugano and is just across the street from the shore – like I said, it always feels like going on a vacation!

The weather in the South is much milder too, much to my liking. It felt like spring already and I really can’t wait for it to be warmer here in Vienna, too! For that reason I wore a thin and light blouse under a cute babypink knit from American Eagle Outfitters. But the thing I got excited about the most was pulling out my boyfriend jeans again. They’re my absolute favorites and make such a great statement when combined the right way! Up until now I’ve only worn them with sneakers but just found out how great they look with ankle boots as well! A new favorite combination? Who knows!
