OUTFIT: Daytrip to Heraklion

Good morning Greece, good morning Elounda!

We just returned from a walk at the fisher’s market in Elounda port, where they sell the fresh fish right from the boats! Anyway, the photos in this post are not from today, but yesterday, when we drove to Heraklion for a little sightseeing.

Those of you who follow me on Snapchat and Instagram already know that it’s my third day in Crete, Greece, today. On our arrival day we only relaxed a little by the house we rented for the week and then went to a beach nearby – the photos are on my Instagram.

Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t in our favor yesterday and it rained from time to time. In between little showers the sun peeked through the clouds but that was pretty much it. At least the one good thing about rain in Greece is that it doesn’t get cold, so we were at least still able to walk around town.

There was a small port with venetian walls and a little antique fortress but more than that and a couple of old churches there was really nothing to see there. Maybe a ton of souvenir shops, other stores for tourists and restaurants. That’s also the reason for this rather short post! 🙂

This playsuit I got last minute a couple of days before we left and I’m so glad I did! It’s comfy, not too hot because of the light material and the cutouts and (in my opinion) it’s extremely cute! Further, I’m a great fan of paisley patterns, so what’s not to love about it? I’d love to hear your opinion on it! 🙂

Today the weather is super warm and we’ll go to more beaches, so stay tuned! 🙂
